Being of a scientific inclination, I like to keep records of data and make use of tables and graphs, and the OTTs are no exception. It was in 2011 in the Hohe Tauern that I first had the idea of producing a list of the 3000 m points that the OTTs have reached. We were on the summit of Petzek (3283 m), and I couldn’t remember if that summit or Hohe Riffler (3231), climbed in 2007, was higher and hence the second highest peak we had reached at that time. I have updated the list for each subsequent year’s Trek Log, and backdated it for earlier Logs.
From 2013 I have included a graphical profile of the route in each Log, and I have added other summary sheets to later Logs. The file below has the latest set of summary sheets, taken from the 2019 Vanoise – Val d’Isère Log. Click on the file name below to view it.
